Overview

Smart Wellness Platform is a production-grade enterprise wellness ecosystem designed to deliver personalized wellness experiences through intelligent software and connected hardware. The platform combines a cross-platform mobile application, a dual-screen kiosk system, a web-based administration portal, and a scalable cloud backend into a unified solution for organizations operating smart wellness spaces.

Users can reserve wellness sessions, access guided wellness experiences, complete camera-based biometric scans, and monitor their long-term wellbeing. Administrators manage organizations, wellness locations, connected devices, digital content, users, and live operations through a centralized dashboard, while dedicated kiosk software powers each physical wellness pod with real-time hardware communication and offline-first reliability.

The project demonstrates enterprise-scale software architecture spanning mobile, web, desktop, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and IoT device integration.

The Challenge

Traditional wellness centers often rely on disconnected software systems, manual scheduling, limited operational visibility, and isolated hardware. The goal was to build a unified platform that delivers seamless user experiences, centralized operations, real-time synchronization, offline reliability, and secure enterprise administration across multiple locations.

The Solution

The ecosystem consists of four integrated applications:

  • React Native Mobile App for booking wellness sessions, viewing insights, managing profiles, and receiving notifications.
  • Electron Smart Wellness Kiosk powering physical wellness pods with dual-screen support, hardware integration, offline execution, and cloud synchronization.
  • Next.js Administration Portal for managing organizations, locations, devices, content, users, analytics, and live operations.
  • Node.js Backend providing REST APIs, authentication, booking management, device communication, notifications, payments, analytics, and real-time synchronization.
